Who Sets Your Clock?

Are you in control of how you spend the hours in your day?

Who controls the time:

  • when you go to work
  • what days you work
  • when you can take time off
  • when you can have vacation time
  • what do you have to do when you are at work

For the past 45 years I have had my own home business and I am in control of when I work.  I am not an early bird so I like to sleep in until about 8:00am.

Working on your Time

I prefer to work Monday through Thursday and give myself a long weekend to spend with family and friends doing things that I enjoy that are not work related.

My time off:

  • Two weeks at the end of August
  • One week in November for Thanksgiving
  • Three weeks off in December for Christmas
  • One week off for Easter
  • Three weeks off at the end of April

Because I am the boss of “me” I get to make the decisions about when I am going to work and when I am going to take a break.  I work hard and I need the break time to relax, enjoy my life and regenerate.

My typical work day is also planned around my family and the things that I need to accomplish

I get up at 8:00AM, shower, get dressed and eat a hardy breakfast

I work in my office from 9:00am until noon.  My daily tasks include:

  • Answering emails
  • Making follow-up phone calls
  • Creating Social Media posts
  • Creating and posting YouTube videos
  • Sending a weekly email
  • Sending a monthly newsletter
  • Preparing for my monthly webinars on topics related to health and wellness
  • Hosting my monthly webinars on Facebook Live and my Zoom platform
